Managed IT that respects a grant budget.

We work with nonprofits and community organizations, so we know the shape of the job: Microsoft nonprofit licensing, budgets that live in grant cycles, a board that wants to understand what it's paying for, and staff who change more often than the laptops do. Here's how we handle it, and what it costs.

What's different about nonprofit IT

Six things we do for nonprofits that a generic MSP doesn't think about.

M365

Microsoft nonprofit licensing, done right

Eligibility, the nonprofit portal, grants and discounted Business Premium, and keeping the license mix clean so you never pay commercial rates by accident.

$

Budgeting on grant cycles

Hardware refreshes and projects planned to land inside fiscal years and grant windows, quoted far enough ahead to make it into the ask.

BRD

Reporting your board can read

The monthly plain-English report answers the questions a board treasurer asks: what did we pay for, what got fixed, is our donor data protected. No jargon.

SEC

Donor and client data, protected

Layered security sized to what you actually hold: donor records, case files, HR data. Email security and staff training first, because that's where nonprofits get hit.

TRN

Training that survives turnover

Live Microsoft 365 and security training for staff and volunteers, repeated as people change, so the knowledge lives in the organization, not in one person.

LAB

Community computer labs

Public-access or program computers aren't "users." They're an environment, covered under wedoIT Ops so you're not paying a per-user rate for a shared lab.

Nonprofit questions, answered straight.

How do we know if we qualify for the nonprofit rate?
Registered nonprofits qualify, including 501(c)(3)s. If you're not sure, we'll check with you on the first call; it takes ten minutes.
Which plans does the nonprofit discount apply to?
All three per-user plans: $20 per user off Complete, Remote, and Co-Managed IT. wedoIT Ops stays on the published Ops rate. The nonprofit discount does not apply to it.
Do you help with the Microsoft nonprofit application and TechSoup?
Yes. We handle eligibility, the nonprofit portal, grant and discounted licensing, and keeping the license mix right so you never pay commercial rates by accident. It's part of the service, not a project.
Do volunteers count as users?
Only if they have their own account and computer. Volunteers or program participants who share a lab or a front-desk machine aren't users; that's a shared environment, covered under wedoIT Ops if it's big enough to need it, and often just part of your setup if it's a machine or two.
Can our board see what we're paying for?
Every month. The report is written in plain English for exactly that reader: what was fixed, what was blocked, whether backups verified, what we'd change and what it costs. Bring it to the finance committee.
Does the $1,250 monthly minimum apply to nonprofits?
Yes. The nonprofit rate is per user; the starting minimum is about whether an engagement is a good fit for either of us. For a team of five on Complete, the minimum applies until per-user pricing exceeds it.

Fifteen minutes, and a number for your next board meeting.

Tell us about your organization and what's been frustrating about IT. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so, and point you somewhere that is.

And it's guaranteed: if there is ever anything you are not completely happy with, we will do whatever it takes to make it right.
